The IBA is open to all real estate brokers who are not part of a national or regional franchise organization. We represent more than 50 brokerage offices in western Washington, engaging over 1,700 uniquely qualified real estate sales professionals. Our commitment to giving the real estate client the very best in truly independent representation is enhanced through our regular meetings, special events and conventions, clock hour classes, and seminars.

Our annual Education Conference and Trade Show is highly anticipated by our members each year! For the last 5 years we have held this fun event aboard The Royal Argosy. We cruise Puget Sound while enjoying gourmet cooking and great clock hour classes. We also have many vendors aboard on the Trade Show decks who provide valuable industry information AND who donate gifts that are given as door prizes to attendees.

The IBA has also developed a relationship with Rockwell Institute that includes class discounts for all IBA members and their affiliate agents.

Model Policy and Procedure Manual, Licensee Agreement and Delegation Agreement

The IBA offers a model Policy and Procedure manual, as well as licensee and delegation agreements. These documents were developed by IBAs attorneys and are tailored to the unique needs of independent firms, helping them meet Department of Licensing requirements that all real estate brokerages have written policies and procedures.

This package of professional documents is available, at a very affordable price, to brokerages that have been members in good standing for three months or more.

You can submit an application for membership to Northwest Independent Brokers Association by completing and submitting our online application. Once we receive your application it will be reviewed and sent to the Board of Directors for approval. Once your application is approved by the Board of Directors we will contact you to inform you of your approval.
